Grace for the Journey

Boston Marathon – 2000

“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me – the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace.” Acts 20:24 NIV

Beth Zier

Beth Zier shares some of her life journey of overcoming challenges and near-death experiences. She is a survivor!

Her speaking ministry began following her survival of a near-fatal car accident in 1980 when she was given less than a 5% chance to live. She talks about her experience of God’s grace and lessons learned as a result of her nearness to death.

Beth is also a breast cancer survivor. Again, she shares about her God-given faith, hope, trust and grace while on her journey.

Beth is an active member of the Lutheran church. She’s been involved with lay ministries, women’s ministries, retreat ministries and adult education. Beth has been a long-time distance runner and marathoner. She also participated in the Seattle Breast Cancer 3 Day – 60 mile walk, in celebration of both her 5 year and 10 year survival (2007 & 2012 respectively). Beth and her husband, Mark, have two grown sons, a daughter-in-law, and three young granddaughters.
