Grace for the Journey
Grace for the Journey
“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me – the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace.”
Acts 20:24 NIV
We all have a story to tell. Through her speaking ministry, Beth Zier shares about her experience of God's grace and lessons learned, as she faced death following a near-fatal car accident (1980), and while fighting breast cancer (2002-2003).
As Beth tells her story of overcoming life difficulties, she will also challenge you to think about your own life experiences, explore God's presence, recognize His faithfulness, and begin to discern the life lessons He has for you. You will also be encouraged to consider telling your story!
Beth is an active member of the Lutheran church. She’s been involved with lay ministries, women’s ministries, retreat ministries and adult education. Beth has been a long-time distance runner and has completed 10 marathons, and numerous half-marathons. She also participated in the Seattle Breast Cancer 3 Day – 60 mile walk, in celebration of both her 5 year and 10 year survival (2007 & 2012 respectively). Beth and her husband, Mark, have two grown sons, a daughter-in-law, and three young granddaughters.
